Who Developed NLP?

NLP was developed by John Grinder and Richard Bandler and is based on the works of world renowned psychology experts including Fritz Perlz, Virginia Satir, Ivan Pavlov, Milton Erikson, Robert Diltz and other highly regarded practitioners in the world of psychology.

How NLP Works

NLP techniques have been used to understand and change human behavior. NLP is a set of hypnotic techniques, that work with the unconscious/subconscious mind (neuro). Since it works with the unconscious mind, change can happen fairly quickly.

It also involves our five senses: visual (seeing), auditory (hearing), kinesthetic (emotions and touch), olfactory (smell), and gustatory (taste).

In addition, NLP also includes language (linguistics) and other non-verbal communication systems including pictures, sounds, feelings, tastes, smells, and self-talk.

What has NLP been used for

NLP has been successfully used for: changing behaviors, stress reduction, smoking cessation, building self-esteem, improving self-care, and more.
